I haven't heard from Brad yet. And, I want to know what everyone thinks.

The Eurovan ends in 5 hours. I want it. We looked locally, and there isn't much of a "quality" selection. Higher mileage, run down, dirty, etc.

I really want Brads opinion, but will settle for anyone's (no offense). Brads got the charity money. What should I do? Bid? My dad can fly down, and drive back.

Cant wait too much longer... We NEED a van (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_rolli_1.gif)

Like a 914, if it's solid and clean, then go for it! Even minor mechanical stuff can be dealt with later.

How much will it cost to be fitted for a wheelchair? Will Medicare cover part of that?

Oh.. how much will one of these things tow? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

You bought a car on ebay without having driven it and without a PPI? This is the same way people get burned on 914s. I hope it works out well though.

Prolly like $5K, give or take a few hundred.

No way. Medicare won't IIRC. Had a hard enough time get'n them to cover my chair. Besides, I have exceeded my limit for '03

Had to. Snuck in a bid (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

They seem reputable (sp?) Lots of positive feedback. I have bought 2 vehicles and sold 2 vehicles; and a Harley all on eBay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) All have been satisfactory. I had multiple conversations w/ the seller, and felt comfy bidding.

Congratulations Dave

Buying the nice red VW van was the easy part.
Now you have to decide what to put on the license plate.

the only thing i have heard about the wassers is to check the ph of the coolant frequently. i believe there is a sacraficial (sp) anode in the cooling system that needs replacement every once and a while. (clear mb coolant has a close to neutral ph)

maybe some fiberglass running boards and flares with a palm tree painted on the side. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
