I found a part on the PCA classifieds that I'd be interested in purchasing, but unable to contact the seller because I'm no longer a member there.

Wondering if I can have a current PCA member here on World contact the seller and provide them with my contact info? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Thanks ...

25 year member. I seldom do any events with them anymore but I did extensive regional autocross previously. The email newsletters and Panorama magazine have improved and evolved considerably and are really top-notch, I think.

I was a member, from 1977 (when I bought my first 911) to about 2003 (?) ... lapsed after I joined the Pelican forum (ironhorse).

I might sign up again for a couple of years ... thanks

Been a member since 1974 (when 914 owners were the bastard stepchildren), so I’ve seen the 914 change it’s status as folks finally realized how great these little cars are.

I think a lot of PCA’s value depends on how active your region stays. Here in Chicago Region, they have events for all types of owners just about every week during the Driving season.

Member since 1995. I've enjoyed the heck out of it. I totally agree it's what you make out of it. I've had a grand time and hosted the 914 MUSR events when they came in this direction. I've pretty much seriously played with my scruffy 914 the whole time so if there be anything wrong with it it's entirely my fault!

I just got a 2015 Cayman S a month or so ago... couldn't get away from the mid-engine thing. It's not as raw and brutal as the 914, but geez, what a delightful machine. Same DNA.

Diablo region since 2006. I think Pete Stout turned the magazine around in a good way. Let's see if they can keep it up.

I joined a couple of years ago because I wanted to start auto crossing. But most of the guys there are confused by both cars I bring the 356 and the 914, one guy even asked if the 356 was a Porsche.
I also write for PCA.org

One thing that was telling when I joined on the website. They ask you to put in your VIN and when I did, 88775, they said it wasn't a valid Porsche VIN. I had to call and they again said, "That's not a Porsche VIN." I said it's a 1960 Porsche 356 Roadster, their response was something like, "oh, one of the old ones" and they manually typed it into their system. It was very telling how they view older Porsches...

Not sure if mentioned already but many dealers give discounts to PCA members. 10% off in my experience which was even honored on a 30K mi 911 Turbo major service. That paid for years of dues instantly.

You get a discount when you order a COA from Porsche.
