Got an early start this morning and finished up most of the -6 rear conversion on the 75. Got the new springs in, restored sway bar bolts and repainted the shocks Bilstein green. Replaced the rear wheel bearings, installed 911SC hubs with spacers from Patrick Motorsports. Painted the new -6 rotors and installed them. Left over SS mirror door screws are great to use instead of the stock one. Next I bolted up the reproduction -6 calipers. Ordered new CV joint shafts as I am going to be using 944 CV's with 100mm 911SC stub axles and 915 trans flanges. New SS lines and e-brake boots will be here Tuesday. Next weeks project is to get the new 911 front control arms on and install the OEM -6 struts and new M calipers. Decided to keep the 1969 911 20mm master cylinder since the new calipers are cup style.

Cool Beans! How does the e-brake work on the system you are using? Is it a drum brake style?
Also what rear spring rate did you go with? Photos? |
