Heading to Roebling Road this weekend for our final event of the year. And while Time Trials are not like racing, they are still a fun and pretty laid back weekend that both Nadine and I can compete in (she doesn't want to do wheel to wheel racing). I am competing for 1st place in the SE Division, Nadine 2nd place. Kinda cool to have a 914 beat out all the perennial 'Big Bore' class winners.
Papa Smurf has had a GREAT year, all year!! For those that have followed our saga, you know this is very special and hasn't happened in a LOOONG time. After Roebling, Papa is headed up to Dawe's for a transmission rebuild/re-gearing, and a winter check up - maybe a few minor upgrades here and there but nothing big. Wish us luck! |
