I have a second set of 6.5 x 15" 5x130 bolt pattern Mini Lites, yes the real mini lites and not the other cops that do odd things like but a lug in the wheel paddle (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

The are going for [s]$2500Reduced $2250 per set. Buyer pays shipping. Come with Lugs Nuts, washers, center caps, and 4 wheels. Last set I know that sold with all the parts was listed at $2900, they sold for $2800 shipped.[/s]

For a bit of history here Mini-lite still has the molds for these wheels. Downfall is they do not fit in their new presses. And do to the limited sales they have no plans of remaking the 6.5" wheels.

If the buyer wants hubsentric ring adapters, I can have that done, for the cost of materials, and shop time. They would be Delrin, and the rears could also be made, to fit the rear hub. I do highly recommend Chris' Tangerine Racing's inserts, they are really good. And well I don't get any promotional fee for this, though he has always treated me well, and for the quality of the parts, I feel it is a bargain. Using Chris insert than the Hubsentric insert all done the same would allow for easier tire rotations.

If you want lug inserts that can also be done. I will not be epoxying them in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) You can do the inserts so that they are a friction fit. You just machine them a bit oversized, we are talking a few thousands of an inch here, based off steel expansion rates, you chill the inserts, and drop them in place. Once the chill wears off, they don't come out unless you press them off. Pretty simple math when you get down to the brass tacks here.

Only reason I see to epoxy them is your wanting an insulation layer between the dissimilar metals. I doubt most people would be thinking about galvanic corrosion. Most car manufactures don't even think about galvanic corrosion between metals. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I sure as hell know VW does not seem to have heard about galvanic corrosion. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif) All my VWs past 2000 seem to love to build a corrosion layer between the wheel and the hub. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) solves this, but it is so frustrating to take a block of wood and BFH, and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) a wheel.
