First time I've seen a painted exhaust pipe.

We'll need pics from under the car, rear trunk behind the tail lights, and rockers at the jack point.

Rot paint (red in German) and "rot" underneath. What a Dennys combo platter.
Did this 914 have an alternate life as Cod fish curing in brine? Holy Smokes

The floors are covered in tar sound deadening, they always look good from the inside. Sorry, but from underneath it's shot to shit.

This is a recently painted $500 parts car that's ready to fold in half.

I know we aren't supposed to comment here, but sometimes a ridiculous situation warrants it. Please do not buy this pile for the price offered. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

Davisclassics,
First of all, the members here aren't trying to be sarcastic or mean. What we have to work with is, either you are very very unfamiliar with 914's or you tried to pull a fast one. The rust on that car is extensive, and that new paint job is probably covering more cancer. The senior members here have extensive knowledge of these cars, and are not going to be ripped off. Get underneath with a screwdriver, expose the rust, and post pics. Maybe a member will take it on as a project, or need it for parts.
