I now know why there was no movement in my front end. I disconnected the front a arm today and couldnt move the arm on the bushings. The shockes were not having to work at all. I thought it was just the Kybs but I could have run without any shocks as stiff as the bushings were. We didn't groove the bushings before we installed them, just put on some moly grease thinking that they would wear in. I havent put many miles on the car since we installed the new bushings. Now I know why it rode like a go cart. I am looking forward to the new bearings and the koni shocks in hopes it will improve the ride. It handled like a champ at willow tho.

It's not just adding grease channels. You also have to lathe them or hollow them out to fit your a-arms. Check this link:

bernie, i discovered the same thing when i changed out the a-arm bushings (stock)on my car. when i dropped the arms and crossmember i could stand on an a-arm and it wouldn't budge. when you get things back together it's going to be like a new car.

yeah... talk about spring rates.
same thing happens on the rear also.

I'm using the same bars and a-arms I had in my old race car.

In the old car when I pushed on the top of the front fenders to bounce or settle the car... basically nothing happened. Now when I push on the new car with the new bearings the thing bounces up and down.
