Opportunity has come up to purchase a car I have been chasing for a while so sadly the Creamsicle has drawn the short straw and is for sale.
I will be adding details, along with more pictures this weekend, likely Sunday. This is a real LE with COA. It is in driver condition and shows no rust. IMO, great car to enjoy as you upgrade/restore. Pros: No found rust, hell hole and longs solid with previous repairs that appear to have been done well. Bumpers/rockers/wheels recently pro refinished in correct Phoenix paint. Brand new tires Lots of Recent rebuilt systems including motor with receipts No hidden secrets, body is really original, with a light respray in spots, some appears to be original. Known history back to early 80's Dry Colorado SW car. Trans shifts nice, syncros appear refreshed Lots of records Cons: Non matching Carbed (dellorto) 2.0 Green engine tin (not me previous owner) Aftermarket LE front spoiler Non orig houndstooth inserts Speakers in door, non OE radio Door dings Chipped and small crack in windshield corner. Trans drips a quarter size spot from output shaft seals (now seals included) More description and pictures to come. Price is $18,900 obo Bike rack not included (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) old pics with rockers off while having bumper/wheels ect refinished. |

They are all good but the most valuable cars are 6’s and LEs and the last year car 76 that was only made in 1975 short run. I think an LE will be a great car to hold on to. It will only go up compared to a non-LE cars and if the market was to soften in the further it would be the easer car to sell than a non-LE car.
Just like houses in a good area in the states. When the last real-estate bust happened in the USA, homes in a good area came back much faster and went up past their 2008 prices quicker. Location, = special factory car. I wish I would have got a 89 930 Best regards, Bob B |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) And bringing it back to stock and fixing the remaining issues shouldn't take it off the road or break the budget.
Plus its so much easier to buy from a guy like Ferg than a craigslist/ebay seller. |

Nice car for the money.....seems well sorted so far too.
Put a little more work into it, and it's a winner. |
