Pt Townsend is a small, picturesque town at the western edge of the Olympic Peninsula. I visited city hall last week for some planning advice and noticed this poster hanging in the foyer. It seems they used to occasionally make a 'family portrait' of town members and I noticed this one from 1994 had a 914 right at the front door to city hall. It has big bumpers so it's a '75-76. Being yellow, it really stood out in the pic.

Wonder where it is now?

You think the car is gone...what about the third floor and tower of the building?

Must have been in a fire?

See the small photo in the upper right.

No fire, just age and deterioration. Apparently the tower and the top floor were removed in the late 40s. It was built in 1891-92 at a cost of $30,000.
