Guys, I bought a 2.0 last week and drove it to Georgia from Milwaukee (yes, I am insane). The engine has Weber 34 icts and and a "cam" in it. It is very chuggy and will occasionally shut down at stop lights. Does anyone know how to tune the 34s? I don't have a manual or anything and I cant get up to Auto Atlanta during the week. Any suggestions?

Anybody in the Middle Georgia area want to help! I'll buy beer and food!

Hey Welcome to the club (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

I havent seen 34s for a long time, Webers are easy to take apart and clean. I don't know about finding a kit, but maybe find it before you hammer down and open them.

You know you are going to have to check a number of things...call it a tune up. I am unfamiliar with your mechanical skills or your knowledge of 914 maintenance,
The answer is moot because you came to the rite place.

Your too far away for me...I'de go.

Ditto -
Make sure you have a good fuel -filter, and disassemble/clean your carbs / jets,
(one @a time). Put back, and sync/set idle, wha-La, a driveable teener !
Good Luck ! you could convert back to F.I. !!!

I would love to convert back--and I have most of the parts. Unfortunately, the engine had a fairly radical cam.
