Here’s my unfinished “Route 66 trailer”. This used to be a 2005 26 ft travel trailer that I couldn’t give away. I decided to gut it and use its frame for my 6” X 16’ dovetail open hauler.
I’m adding some unique features while attempting to keep weight down under 1500 lbs. Elec brakes Alum wheels 100% LED lighting Aluminum diamond plate platform Aluminum diamond plate fenders (removable) 4,000 remote power winch On board ultra light 12VDC power 12V Jump posts On board air compressor w/ 9 Gal tank (below deck) On board 10 gal water tank w/ 25 ft hose (below deck) And YES…wireless back-up camera All in white w polished deck.
