RIX914parts.com introduces RIX Custom Rain Shields, a re-designed original part that we think ‘dresses up’ any 911 engine. We take a good stock product but make it better by using new materials.
After some trial and error, we hit on Polycarbonate material (better known as Lexan in the racing world). It is used in racing to replace glass components like windshields and rear windows because of its durability and ability to withstand heat. Don’t confuse our polycarbonate material with acrylic or other plastics that crack and don’t withstand heat, ours is far superior to anything on the market today. We offer our rain shields in 3 colors (Clear, Smoke and Bronze) to complement your engine compartment and each pair comes with stainless steel wing nuts and washer seals for complete installation. |
