This is a great venue and is a fast course.
usually less than 50 drivers, so plan on plenty of runs. Who wants to race me? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) KT |

I'll race ya. but you gotta pay for the travel. AND I have to be back for Sunday In New Orleans . BIG race going here too. Maybe we should just stick to the 914cup thing.
BTW 10 events so far this year Sunday make 11. and it will be on my Hoosiers mounted on 15 x 8 Diamond racing wheels. Ya hoo. it sticks really good now. |

Hoosiers arrived today, but wont have the wheels until next week. Trekkor, thanks for the tip about that mat the other day @#$@! that thing is at least 10-15 lbs! My car has easily lost another 30lbs of crap since the Marina AX. Both radio's and speakers are gone now too. I'm thinking once I get all the fiberglass bolted on the car should be down to 1800 lbs. |

SCCA Street Mod 2 limit is 1900 lbs. Only have 68 pounds to go. Horse power is unlimited as long as itwas available in a 914 which is where I will be heading next. Big ass 4 coming up. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)

Trek,
The Peridot Team will most likely be there. Despite the fact that we have 3 or 4 hangin around, none are currently running so we will NOT be running any 914's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) The chances that we will run a 914 this year grow smaller all the time. |

Dont worry Nathan I wont catch you I havent done anything to the engine. Car for Alameda might be sporting fiberglass hoods and bumpers if I get them and can paint them in time. Wheels and tires will be wider and lighter. I may even have time to play with my alignment to get the most out of the new slicks. I'm just praying for momentum courses (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) And I've stripped everything I think I can strip and still keep it legal for FM class. Oh still have the floor tar to pull out. |

oh, i'm not worried (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) just kidding -- i think we should create a 'spec-2056' series... that would be tons of fun. the more competition the better, as far as i'm concerned. or, it'd be fun to swap cars for a couple runs (not a real offer, just sayin'). yup, i've gotta put some carpet back in to be legal in FM. only weighs a few pounds, no biggy. i'll be sportin' some front shocks that actually WORK at alameda. patrick -- seriously, when will the car be finished? what's the hang up? i see your car all the time at HPH on parts runs and it looks to be finished to me (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) don't mean to pry or get in the middle of things, just want to see another happy 914 driver... |

2056 class would be fun! I think seeing you run well with a 2056 has convinced me to go that route. Next year I'll have my engine. then you'll need to look over your shoulder (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |

andy: i won't protest you unless you beat me... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)
we could propose a 2056 class for PCA. of course, we all run in Fm anyway, so it might be moot. |
