ok, so i needed to look into getting another server to be used as a "staging" server for my biz website.
and then i realized that a staging server doesn't need lots-o-power as it's not going to be hit by nearly as much traffic as a live-server ... so i decided to use *this* server as the staging server and make the new box the dedicated 914world.com server instead! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) the new box is going to have faster CPUs, more RAM, more HD space and a newer OS. this should speed up things nicely ... ETA is mid june ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/boldblue.gif) Andy |

I'll pay for the OS license as long as it's Debian Linux.

Damn! You had me there for a second. I don't think anyone thought you were doing anything but giving us the good news. Its just that people here really appreciate what you are doing and want to offer their financial support. Thanks for the new server and all of your work to keep this site going. -Jeff |
