I recently purchased a bundle of 914 parts that were off of an abandoned project from several years ago. One of the parts is a Leistritz brand muffler and appears to be NOS. It still has some of the part labels attached. Does anyone know if this was an OE muffler or an aftermarket part? The stamping on the housing shows that it was made in W. Germany.

I also had a Leistritz
on my 6 #41 dated late 1969. Sold it on Ebay for $300. Used but nice. Bob B |
