73 2.0 from all the diagrams that i see it shows that it goes to the throttle body right above the valve. yet mine has no provision for this. it has one right under it for retard. i feel like i am taking crazy pills!!!

Not all 73's came with the two port TB's. or its a replacement one.

Your throttle body has to have at least 1 port on it. It is probably at the back (there may be one on the front but it is plugged). Plug the top hose on the vacuum advance and connect the bottom one to the fitting on the TB.

hook it up like the pic and if you want the vacuum adv install a port for it. It gives you a slight bit of kick between 1500-2500 rpms. Remember these are mechanical dizzys so its not that important (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

i assume you are talking about the centrifuge advance. i believe it is sticking. when i put the dizzy in i noticed it didn't have that extra movement when turning it by hand. i'll pull it out and see if can't fix it. thanks

took the dizzy out, took it apart, lube up the centrifuge advance which freed it up, put back together and back in the car. Problem solved (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Once again the club pulls through
Thank you
