i was bored today, so i went and grabbed one of the 9" x 16 Ronal wheels and polished it and blacked out the center ...
i think i like it better than just plain chrome. we'll see once i get some tires on there ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) Andy Attached image(s) |

Ha, that is exactly what I planned on doing with my Ronals. The only problem is that I need to strip the crappy silver paint off mine first then I can polish and paint them.
Hurry up and put those on your car so I can see how it looks (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Very nice! Throw some red pinstriping on the spokes and clear coat them. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Much better than all polished, IMHO.

Why not silver? Or grey? Heck you could have even put a flake in it...

How did you prep the chrome surface for paint? I've always wondered how to do that. I've got these door handles......
