Figured I would take advantage of the fact that there is not a foot of snow on the ground and get a head start on the spring cleaning of my new project.

Still needs polish, wax and daylight to get some good pics.

Nice project James!

What all are you planning to do with it?

Thanks, and im not totally sure. Short term the plan is to make it a driveable car again. Currently its just a roller. I have the numbers matching engine for it but its out of the car and missing a lot of what it will need to run. Thankfully I have a decent sized parts stash so I should be able to make it whole again without to much parts sourcing.

Long term, not sure. It was somewhat of a spontaneous purchase. I had way to many cars before I picked this up but as a long time 914 addict you just don't pass up an LE in need when the deal is right, so now I have one more than way to many cars. Made an agreement with my wife that I would sell it when I was done but that depends on my level of attachment when the time comes. If I think about it logically, I like to daily drive/drive the hell out of my 914s and I suspect I might feel guilty about doing that in a car this nice/rare. Can't say for sure until the time comes but if I hang on to this one ill most likely sell my 73 2.0 instead to appease the wife.
