im the 4th owner, 8 years and this is the first time i have pulled tin. good compression and leak down 2 years ago, i am wondering if this oild and dirt is enough to pull heads? it was runnimg good and temps were great with aux. oil cooler- Attached thumbnail(s) |

thats kind of what i figured. i dont think its major leak ir anything like that. i just wanted tk make sure. i dont want to dive in that deep now, maybe in a few years but i really wnat to just clean it up, install the new tin, runners, trottle body, plenum, seals etc etc- all newly powder coated heat parts coming from Bruce Stone! just cleaning and degreasing so that the motor will look as nice as the newly painted body! i think i probably have 2 months before paint gets done so i have some time to clean and reassemble. it is turning into " while i am at it" syndrome!
