My goto was Sean Malloy (member here) at SDAutoSport in La Mesa (I live a few miles away) but I've discovered he closed his shop.
I'm about to start a house remodel with a new garage and I'm looking to get a few mechanical things taken care of especially the fluid leaks as I don't want spots on my new garage floor. Things I'm looking to take care of: -Brakes and lines -Oil and tranny leaks -Fuel pump relocation w/ SS lines -Misc tuneup related parts -Some bodywork and paint (maybe) After doing some searching here and google, I'm having a hard time identifying a place which can take of the various things I'm looking for. I live near SDSU and I'd prefer to stay within a 15 min drive if possible. Thanks in advance. |

I'm in Vista. Don't officially have a shop, but I kind of moonlight on 914's after work and on weekends to fill in the gaps. We might be able to make something happen if you can't find anyone else in the SDSU area.
I didn't know Sean was closing up shop, that's a shame to hear. |

Let me see what I can sort out more local first and I'll ping you if it makes sense. Yeah bummer about Sean. He's been super helpful over the years. It seemed a little abrupt. Looks like he's been MIA here since Nov. Not sure when the shop closed but seems pretty recently as well. Hopefully he pops up, and has found another place for his shop. Thanks. |
