I bought that NOS fog set on ebay. The seller was out of town til the 5th. I emailed him to get shipping charges. I got this email:
QUOTE

Kori,

I'm the shipping agent for Mike Miller.  The total cost for shipping (plus packaging) the kit is $15.00 and you purchased the kit for $450.00.  This brings your total to $465.00 total.  Please make the check or money order to Mike Miller and send to

23411 Aliso Viejo Pkwy, Suite K
Aliso Viejo, CA 92656.

Once the check is received, the item will be shipped ASAP and tracking number will be emailed to you.  Contact me or Mr. Miller at mmille1670@aol.com with any questions.  Thank you.

It has been my practice not to send payment till I get a personal response from the seller. I know that a lot of businesses use form letters and drop shippers. But there are to many scammers out there.

E-mail the seller again. Use the 'Request Read Receipt' option on your e-mail program.

How does his feedback look? After you got burned once this week on eBay, paranoia is just being safe.

I guess he is still out of town. They said they'd send it COD. Costs 12 extra, but better than losing 450...

His feedback is great. He sold a Ferrari (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
