I'll give ya the Schwer vs. S thing but... them there calipers (S vs. A) are two different animals. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) They simply share the same piston diameter and pad "surface" area. Other than that, they look like they come from two separate companies. |

yup, yer right. speaking of right -- i think you have the right disk on the left side in your picture :-) ... (okay - i'll grant you that with straight-vane vents there's no real difference. but "traditionally" Porsches run their hole pattern so that it twists "with" the direction of rotation...) it's your car - do what you want. i've seen new Ferraris with "backward" spirals too. |

That question was posed to me once before on the early911sregistry board. It even prompted me to get a momentary life, get off my ass and go to the garage and check. They're Brembos and they're marked left and right and for once... I did it right. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

This is great stuff, Eric and Arte...I feel like I'm back in school. Will there be a test next week? This should be a classic thread. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
