Working on a project and need a set of good heads. Do not need crazy valve sizes. 42x36 max. Stock 1.8 or 2.0 would fine, or 1.7 with larger registers as well. Just want crack free, low miles or new, or recent rebuild. Intentionally a broad request. And must be willing to box them and mail them to me in Alaska. Thanks all.

What how much do you have to spend on heads ? For 3K you can get new heads.

What are the engine details ? Piston size, Compression ratio, cylinder head volume, etc ?

Not spending 3k on heads. Not looking for head recommendations. I'm asking if anyone has a good set of heads they're looking to sell. Thank you.

Just did this at $#1500. Great heads but spendy. What is your expectation of cost?

Depends on what is being offered. But 1500$ for a good clean set with decent components ready to go sounds fine. I'm currently working with a gentleman on a really nice set, but haven't worked out all the details yet. I have several engines and can build them around the heads. Living up here in Ak heads are the hardest things to find, and I cant pop over to the local typeIV guru and pick up a set.

I have a newly rebuilt set of 1.8 heads with relocated spark plugs to the 2.0 location and stock valve sizes if you are interested. I had the work done by Brothers machine shop in Ontario, CA for a motor I was building before I found a Raby. Asking $1,000 but I can’t get you any pictures until the following weekend since I am out of town at the moment

I'd definitely be interested in those. Send me some pics when you can, and pm me some more details about them when you get a chance?
