Nice looking driver quality '74 2.0L for sale on BAT.....very strong money at $15K in the first day of the auction. Should be interesting to see where the auction ends up (7) days from now.

As a 1974 Model 473544, steel wheels would be factory build correct, but I would not say that the fake fuchs or even the muffler are "incorrect", just not factory parts.
Condition, more than most other factors is a major value indicator and this example is quite good and will clean up nicely. The rare interior color, and body color are great - but don't like them in combo - I think it affects value. What about the two tone door panels - never saw that on a 914. Of course there is the fire hazard of the incorrect fuses in the fusepanel. The major distraction for me is the large stain on the front trunk board. Clean or replace it for the big money deal. |

My '74 also came with those same two tone door panels and brown interior. The PO painted it red, but I always thought the brown interior would have looked odd with it's original signal orange exterior (it still looked odd with the red). |
