I just missed out on the Auto Atlanta 76 Nepal orange 914. Looking for a 73-76 original orange color (repaint of original color OK) 2.0 914. Must be top driver or show quality. Will pay top $$ for the right car.

There are several videos and technics that explain how to remove them. Paul stated that the strips were dealer installed when the car was new so they weren't clear coated over. The only concern with removing them is there might be possible shadowing after removed if the original paint around the strips have faded.

Pinstripe wheel is the best option, imho. I've used them and have never had an issue.
You can buy them at other places (Amazon, Walmart) but a body supply shop is where I usually get mine.Attached Image
