I really like period-correct plates. Great selection of pre-cleared ones on ebay. In NY, all you need is historical designation on your insurance card, a form and something like 30 bucks. I gotta believe alabama is similar. probably easier/cheaper

Mass. also has the "year-of-manufacture" plates. I have them on my '64 Ghia.
For your 914.. URBXSTR "Ur" is German for original - it's common in the Audi crowd where the UrQuattro, UrS4, UrS6 are the first versions. |
