Jim, Need more info. Metric or english sockets? These look like standard depth sockets - not short or long? 7/8"-2.5" nuts are indicated - really? NOS - never used?

Jeff: Definitely SAE and standard depth. The smallest socket is 7/8" and the largest is 2 1/2" there are 21 sockets total I bought the set new in the '80s. It was kept in my tool chest and maybe used one socket once or twice. The sockets show some surface rust, but should beastly cleaned up. Extensions and ratchets are perfect. It's a very nice set, I need the room in my tool chest |

You can use the 3/4 socket set for other things rather than a socket set. The sockets can be used in areas where special tools are needed. Example: 3/4 All Thread and an assortment of these sockets can be used to remove the rear bearings; also, install them.
Just passing on some knowledge I picked up years ago. |
