I believe the one on the right is the later style, with cutouts for the emissions control counting device. If they both fit, I'd go with the earlier style to avoid any carpet divots or sags.

Kent,

If the above is correct, then use the early if going into a 70-74 MY, or the late if going into a 75-76. The save or sell the other for that era MY 914 use later.

You don't say which MY it's going into.

* There's a third version for 75-76 that is the same size as the mid-years, but with a rectangular cutout for the EGR counter box.

It’s a 70. I thought the small one would offer more floor space but obviously not comfort. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
