Went to BMW Experience today and enjoyed myself. Not as well put on vs. 3 years ago or the Mazda RevItUp.
One of the things that disturbed me was while they had an impressive roster of instructors, they failed to tell anything about them. Davy Jones was there. He and I grew up not far from each other, I've had an opportunity to race against him and to me he was one of the best ever. He finished 2nd at the Indy 500 in race that he should of won, was THE Jaguar GTP driver winning just about everywhere, raced in F3 against Senna, Prost, etc. and more than held his own.... and they fail to introduce him. It was great to catch up with him and some of the other instructors I knew, and fun to beat up on somebodies elses car. T.C. |
