I swapped out my '67 912 original front suspension for an SC, which means I have the '67 full set up sitting in the garage.

Any reason not to use it on the '74 914/6 project?

I think you can but might not be the best option. Might want to see what it’s worth to an early 911 guy / earlySregistry

Use later SC struts if you can find them, you'll have a better choice on brake options.

The early set up uses pinch bolts to hold the struts to the lower ball joint. This was replaced with the wedge bolt system in '71 (IIRC).

I'd sell to an early 911 guy.

not in a million years, 911 front end was totally changed in 69 never to look back on that antiquated stuff. Sell it to a short wheelbase guy
