I am looking for a rear trunk cable release kit, is anyone making them anymore?

These can be made. and I think with existing parts.

I had one member contact me about this.
I would think a cable could be routed along the wiring for the tail lights and wind up with a base and pull discretely mounted on the back side of the trunk. The only problem is I do not have this so I can't really work the problems out.

Would love to work with someone to prototype and document the install. I know others have bought these and done so, but it would be less expensive to have a "kit".

Not sure of the exact meaning of discretely mounted on the back side of the trunk.
Are you referencing inside the passenger compartment or the engine compartment?

If it would be possible to locate the pull handle near the pull for engine lid, I would be interested in a kit. Maybe start a GB post to check interest.
