That is a challenge. Mine has no reflector, but the hole was welded shut by the PO.it does look clean, but I don’t trust the electric solenoid.

With the solenoid some would drill a small hole with a grommet in the trunk floor and run an emergency pull wire under the car.

I will run the cable through the floor to augment by electric solenoid, thanks
