want to replace the factory sway bar bushings. The drop link bushings should be easy. I have a question about the bushing that is through the body. If it’s a stock bar and I take off the bolts holding the outer triangle plate off to get the bushing out, is the inner triangle plate going to stay put? I’ve seen pictures of the triangle portion with just two captive nuts on it. I’ve seen pictures of the triangle plate welded to the inside of the gas tank area. I’ve seen pictures of the triangle plate just loose inside the gas tank area while the sway bar is out. Can I pull the outer triangle plate off, replace the bushing and reassemble without having to pull the gas tank?
