The 14" braided style one I bought at O'Reilly's was/is exactly like an original.
Maybe you don't think I know the difference? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) |

Some people need to have the name attached, and are willing to pay extra for it regardless of wire condition. Oh crap, just realized this is classifieds. Sorry for commenting. Good luck with search.

It's funny, there was a guy here a few years ago selling "original factory ground straps."
They were the same ones from O'Reilly's and I called him out on it. They ARE identical to the factory ones. He stopped selling them after that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) |

Ok,
I'm interested now. The lower one is obviously the battery cable, the upper should be the transmission ground strap. Never seen the ground strap used as the battery cable, at least on a factory installation (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) My 72 is pretty bone stock and it has a ground cable, but looks like at some point earlier than my 72 it used a ground strap? just asking. |

The cable is the same on my ‘74. Mark, if you’re thinking about making these I would gladly purchase one from you. |
