With both the side windows rolled up they rattle in the vertical track on the back side of the wing window. Should there be some sort of felt runner in there?? I don't have another one close by to compare with.

yes, there's supposed to be a felt strip on the inside part of the door. rubber on the outside.
also, the plastic rollers in the front channel could be worn out (or missing)
same goes for the plastic "slider" in the rear channel ...

Rollers huh. Well that sounds like more than a 15 minute job. I will get a little more up close and personal and see just what I have (or don't have). Gotta be fixed. I hate rattles.

I've discovered that the fix to any rattle in a car is the installation of a few more watts in the stereo. Or earplugs. Opposite ends of the spectrum, same result -- "What rattle?"
