As the dashpad was cracked in a couple of places i decided to recover it.

I tried to flock it first but it was terrible and was more difficult than i thought. So i skimmed a thin layer of fibreglass cloth and used a textured bumper paint in matt black. I wanted a more protected finish and deeper colour so put on a coat of matt black paint over the texture.

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, everything fits and works too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

One word of caution if you do this, support the dashpad to prevent it from bending out of shape.
