Hi all,
I originally posted photos of the car in a thread on March 18th, I think, after just having acquired it from the original owner's mechanic. After driving it around for about a month now (runs beautifully), I've decided to sell it and buy something I can stick a bigger engine in. So the car is for sale: 1975 1.8L 914 Car was originally sold in La Mesa, CA, and lived there its entire life. Have service records dating back to '90. Original owners were scrupulous about mechanical care. Very little use in past ten years. Has 162,000 orig mi but only 5,000 on heads which were re-built in '98. Only rust I've seen is in the rear trunk pan where it ponded and ate through. (See photo). License plate number is not a personalized plate. Asking $10,000 OBO. Happy to answer any questions. Please PM me. No wire transfers, please. Shipping not included. Carl Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |
