(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) most of our cars in progress don’t carry insurance. Check with your homeowners to see if you are covered. This is very true. I have my insurance through State Farm and when we had the big fire here in December of 2017, I called to verify what would happen. I was told that home owners would not cover the car and for a nominal $6.00 a month more, I would be covered if the house burned down. After agreeing on a stated price / value for the car, I think I ended up paying something closer to $7.50 a month. Very small per month cost and coverage if you ever need it because home owners (at least mine) would not have covered it. And well worth it if you have to file a claim. |
