Any reviews on this vulcanised rear roof rubber?

I just installed one I got from AA on my 73. The one I took off my roof felt heavier and had a stainless steel plate molded into the rubber on both sides. It looked like it was going to be a job to rip them out of the rubber but I had another roof that had the SS plates not part of the rubber so I used those. Overall happy with it and it seals fine.

I have not seen the AA ones but I just put the 914 Rubber ones on mine and this is how they turned out. I had to reuse the original metal from the old seal but it cleaned up well. I repainted the roof with Raptor (bed liner) and it turned out great.

I used old school black shoe polish on mine and am happy with the result.
