Edit: I sorted out this problem. The line goes to the top of the air cleaner.
I have a 1972 914 1.7L with D-Jet. There is a thick vacuum line (braided) that goes from the oil filler canister back to the intake manifold (the central area, from which the air intake tubes start). Where it hooks up there is one more thin vacuum line, which right now goes nowhere. I am trying to figure out where it goes. Anyone have any ideas? I can try to take some photos if people think this would help. Thanks. |

Thanks, 914 RZ-1! Actually if you happen to have the full document which lists the lengths and sizes of all the hoses, that would be useful -- I am planning on replacing all the vacuum lines sometime in the future, and it will be helpful for ordering them.

I've added a pdf of the whole diagram, including the table.
