There doesn't look to be any oil coolers other than the engine mounted one. Does the 3.0 engine run cool enough that one isn't needed? Just wondering.
Beautiful car! I love that it is still a narrow body. |

I love that it is still a narrow body. There appears to be one line going to the front of the car on the right side and perhaps a second return line on the left side plumbed into the tank. Anything from 2.7 up should have a cooler. All SC's had one. The 1st were continuation of the less than optimal "trombone" style. The intermediate fix sold by Porsche was the 28 row brass tube cooler. When the 3.2 Carrera was introduced we got the standard "Carrera Cooler" used till the end of the line. The 28 row cooler didn't need require a shield. They are build like a tank. |
