I went to our annual Wash 'n Shine and saw that we had a nice representation of 914's. I just wish they had all been parked together. Regardless, lots of nice cars and people having fun, enjoying the great weather.
Not sure why these posted out of order....I am terrible at this stuff. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Ohhh I was there ... This is "My Show" (for the last 8+ years anyway) I have moved it away from a Concours and morphed it into a what I hope is a FUN, more casual event. The music, tacos in the street, Indy on the TV at the bar, Bloody Mary specials, and participants voting on their favorite of each class and best of show. We have found that not only is not grouping the models together is a BUNCH easier to do (especially with fewer pre registered and more and more late or day of event registers). The folks like to see the comparison of different models side by side. I have about 100 spaces to work with and it is challenging to separate ... then there is always one group that doesn't like where they are on the lot. I was thrilled to see a good 914 showing . Thanks for coming out if you were there or plan on next year. PS. I am doing our (Diablo PCA) annual BBQ (free to new members) @ St Marys College on July 28th . We plan on having 200+ cars. Singer will be there with 2 cars, PEC drivers will be there with cars from dealers . |
