Was it the 924 with a wiper switch that would work on a 914 that was electrical?

The extra wire is for an electric pump, if you want it. If not, the air pressure valve works as well.
You will see 4 and 6 wires variants. The 4 Wire doesn't support the intermittent relay.

No. None of the original 914 wiper switches were designed to work with an electric pump.

No. None of the original 914 wiper switches were designed to work with an electric pump.


I just got to use my switch coupled to the “99” relay from vw. You push the lever down and then back up, and then when it is time for another sweep push down agai. After that it remembers the interval. Pull back and you get washer fluid plus a couple sweeps. You need to add an additional relay, but it sure is slick.
