I have a bunch of Fuchs and a friend of mine in LA is looking for some 16x7's. I want to make sure that he can use them before I officially offer them to him and set a price.

I have 2 of each of the following:

P/N 911631010 [44] (on paddle 1)
AS1062 (on paddle 1)
FCO (paddle 3)
[2385] (paddle 5)
inspection numbers (paddle 2)
size NO ET info (paddle 4)

---------------------------

P/N 9513621 [15] (paddle 1)
AS1062 (paddle 1)
FCO (paddle 3)
[3285] or [8Z85] (paddle 5)
inspection numbers (paddle 2)
ET 23 (paddle 4)

There is a difference in the lug nut mounting hole (pics soon) similar to the difference between 8's and 9's.

Does anyone have any more info on these? He wants to put them on his 914 2.7 -6. He is currently running 15x7 & 8 (I believe).

Does anyone know the value?

The P/N 9513621 [15] are 944 fuchs wheels.

IIRC the inner diameter of these is slightly larger compared to the 911 fuchs, so they will take bigger brake calipers.
Not sure, but you could easily measure and compare the two

The 8x16 944 fuchs also have a ET of 23, compared to the 8x16 911 fuchs, which have an ET of 10
Supposedly the 8x16 944 fuchs are popular with the 911 crowd because it allows wider tires on the front (higher ET means more backspacing)

7x16 fuchs for both the 911 and 944 have the same ET of 23 (which you already mentioned)

cheers,

Jeroen

Thanks Jeroen,

I'm keeping my 8's to use on the front of the blue car (assuming it ever gets done).

So, he should be able to use both, then, huh?

Maybe put the 951 wheels up front and the 911 in back?

Hey Sean,

Since both the 7" 911 and 7" 944 fuchs have the same ET, it wouldn't matter which you put up front or in the rear.
With the 8's it would...

cheers,

Jeroen

Oh, can you check/measure the differences between the 944 and 911 fuchs?
I'm curious

cheers,

I was thinking since you can fit a bigger brake inside the 951 wheel it may make more sense to do it up front (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

OK,

I went out and measured some areas of the wheel...interesting results...

911
Horizontal Lip - 1"
Vertical Lip - 1 1/16"
Clear part of face - Angled Down
Back of wheel to Face - 5 3/16"
Front of wheel to hole for center cap - 1"

951
Horizontal Lip - 1"
Vertical Lip - 1 3/16"
Clear part of face - Flat
Back of wheel to Face - 6 1/16""
Front of wheel to hole for center cap - 1/4"

What do you mean by "Back of wheel to Face" ?
The differences look weird and I wonder why they did it

Did you by any chance measure the inner diameters?

cheers,

Jeroen

the back of the wheel to the face distance is the distance from the back edge of the inside inner lip to the front of the of the black area, the flat black area between the paddles. I did not measure the inside diameter, I'll do it today.
