I can see a clear giveaway that this is an US spec car but I won't spoil it to others.

So can I but since you were made to change that when you got the car to the states, that isn’t it.

Hey Tdskip,

How many 914s do you now own?

Love the color on this you just picked up.

Grey market imports...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_import_vehicle

The headlights looked euro. Check and see if they have sockets with Hbulbs.

I wanted to reach under and see if the side marker light hole had been welded up, but after being shot and blown up, I don’t bend that way some days. Tom, you should do that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Good morning guys - will take a look.

Any other Euro tell's I should be looking at?

I have three now;

This one
'74 roller that is stupidly straight and only 36k on chassis
'74 red turbo nonsense 911 suspension one

Kind of too many....need to pick pne for the 3.2 build, leaning towards '74 turbo car since already modified...

Thanks!

If indeed that is original paint...then its also a euro model...perhaps imported to the US by your airman via free C130 USAF transport?

No front side markers
No front bumper guards (this is a 73 right?)
74+ steel wheels.... hmmm, these seem not original.

Hi - it appears it has been painted once in the original color. The paint is so thin however that I appears that it was a bare metal job.

EDIT - the side markers have been welded closed.

EDIT - the front trunk VIN is on the passenger side wheel arch

I’ll take the ‘74 roller instead of the Blue Moon. Just trying to help you problem solve Tom... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)

Rob-under the heading of trying to pay it forward I found this Fiat in a storage locker today for a buddy in Tennessee and I am going to help him get it titled.
