On my 76 the white plastic clips (one of which has been broken for years) are fastened in the rear trunk with what appear to be large rivets. It seems these will have to be drilled out. Is anyone familiar with these? Are nuts and bolts a reasonable substitute? The 914 PET shows these clips to be fastened with M6 x 12 hex head bolts, perhaps on early models. Are there captive nuts in place for these? See 22, 23, and 24 on the PET sheets. Attached thumbnail(s) |
