I acquired a new piece of pre-cut perlon from 914Rubber and have done some limited test fitting. Since I only get one shot at gluing the perlon, i’m Looking for advice from someone that’s done this.

Jim, I hated to ruin the paint underneath so I used double sided tape, the kind with the foam in-between. It works perfect and won't harm the paint. You place it in corners and edges, not all over. Quick to do.
