Rebuilt engine, ported and polished heads, rebuilt and updated side shift transaxle, new performance clutch, rebuilt 911 front suspension for five lug conversion, Porsche 944 Turbo four piston Brembo brake calipers in front, braided stainless brake hoses. Stock rear brakes with five lug conversion. KONI struts front and rear. Lowering springs in rear. Genuine Fuchs staggered rims. New interior, that needs to be installed. No rust. Battery tray removed for room for turbo. Rebuilt IHI RHB5 turbos from a Maserati BiTurbo. Custom stainless exhaust. Has not been driven in 30 years. All rebuilding, updating and paint done over the last 17 years. Clear title. new plates. Good Glasurit paint. Good Dunlop tires. Earliest 914 I have seen. Build date of December 1969. Brand new NOS dash with no cracks never installed. I was waiting to put the vinyl on the dash at the base of the windshield which is what is holding up all the installation of the interior. Custom metal vents on sail panel one inch by 12 inches for one square foot of air forced to cool the turbos. New deep sump pan. New oil pump and oil cooler adapter installed and oil lines ran along rocker panel behind body panel, into passenger footwell and then into front trunk to avoid interference with front tire and road debris. Plumbed for RX7 oil cooler. New metal fuel lines plumbed. 916 bumpers. Hella amber fog lights. 914/6 style engine lid. Email prefered. Asking $7500. Accepting reasonable offers. I will send photos to interested parties vis email. Update: call or text three one oh eight five oh three six five five

Automobile Atlanta sells a REPRODUCTION dash for $1155. I have a New Old Stock (NOS) dash, which is no longer available from Porsche, so I am sure it is more desirable and valuable. The staggered Fuchs wheels go for around $2000 on ebay if you check completed auctions. The calipers are around $500 on ebay for the pair. The 916 bumpers from Automobile Atlanta, which have the best quality bumpers, are $326 for the rear and $295 for the front. Not even mentioning the 911 front suspension and the custom work to have the 944 Turbo Brembo brakes fitted to the struts. Take all that off and you still have a rebuilt side shift transaxle, $1500- $2000, and a rebuilt engine, $5000, as well as a rust free body. Plus the new interior that has never been installed except for the drivers door panel.

I have owned this car for almost thirty years. I built the engine. I have been a technician for thirty-seven years. I have been an ASE certified technician for Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drivetrain and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Electrical/Electronic Systems, and Engine Performance for 15 years. If I had bothered to be certified in Air Conditioning and Heating I would be certified as a Master Technician.

I have done all the work myself except for the paint and the rebuilding of the transaxle, which was done at a specialty shop.

If I had the time to finish it I believe it would be a $20,000 car. The 914/6's had around 200 horsepower and were very competitive. I estimate this engine to have the roughly the same horsepower with a lighter package.

I am willing to take $7500 for it, which after doing much research on SOLD vehicles, is below fair market value. I still have a 1967 Nova SS with a custom Corvette frame to complete as well as a 1972 Chevelle and a 1958 Chevy Panel truck, each with their own custom touches. Too many projects.(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285055.1.jpg)http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e85/omanolo/DSCF4892_zpsazlvvbim.jpghttp://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e85/omanolo/DSCF4894_zpsnrpilwv1.jpg(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285055.2.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285055.3.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285055.4.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285056.5.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285056.6.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285056.7.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285056.8.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285056.9.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.10.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.11.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.12.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.13.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.14.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285057.15.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285058.16.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i37.photobucket.com-4631-1529285058.17.jpg)

I think he meant the peanut gallery...

I like the idea of this car, he had it on Craigslist with no price and limited description. I lowballed an offer and the above description is pretty much how he responded. He posted here shortly afterwards.

"Lowballed" is an understatement.
