There is a cars and coffee every Saturday morning at 8-11 am in the Wegman’s parking lot in Malvern. There seems to be a pretty consistent showing of Porsches and several interesting cars in general, and I was thinking about using it as an opportunity for a 914 get-together. If anyone else is interested and the weather forecast holds up, I was thinking we could plan to head over this Saturday (23rd). Address below:
50 Foundry Way Malvern PA 19355 Also, I took a drive this past weekend that had a nice mix of curves and straightaways based on a thread I found on the bird about driving roads in Chester County. I was thinking this could be something to do following cars and coffee if anyone wants to. Basically, we would be heading South on 202 down to the back roads southwest of West Chester University and back up. The ride from Wegman's and back would take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Of course, anyone could split off wherever they would like. I am definitely not much of an organizer, so please feel free to provide input on meeting location, the drive, timing, etc. |

Was a nice turnout of cars this morning.
My son & I took his 944. Met up with Brian (TheeV8s) a pleasure to talk with! His 914 has an immaculate brown/black interior ,sorry that I didn’t get a pic of it Brian. Just took a few snaps. It’s a nice venue to park up. Plenty of coffee spots in the area. A good morning. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Thanks Dion...Great meeting you and your son today! Here are a few more pics that I took. I meant to take pics of the 44 but completely forgot. That’s a great car and glad you and your son will get a chance to spend time working on it together. That ‘72 Olds brought back memories from when I was a kid. He pulled up next to me on the way out so I snapped a pic to show how big our 914s are. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
