Does it come with the trans ( VW bus trans ) as pictured ?
What did this come out of ? What is the engine number ? If it is a 75 914 engine it would have the smog ports which I do not see. Heads are 2.0 914, Linkage for left carb not installed. Starter has a bolt missing. Maybe put on for show? I see the right side cylinder tin has been cut for an AC compressor. Also see a back cylinder tin missing. Were the tins recently repainted ? The top tins are missing the screws. And more linkage hardware left on the right side tin. Not trying to be overly critically but engines run with out all the tin in place do not cool properly. Any compression numbers ? BTW that is a 912 or 356 distributor that would be worth a lot more to an owner of one of those cars. A vacuum advance distributor would be a better choice. Good information helps sell engines. Bruce |
